Here we share the inspiring story of how a young man came from a small village to Istanbul, overcame many challenges, and built Mr. Simone from the ground up…
“Simone” is a childhood nickname given to İsmail by his mother. A name that has stuck ever since. Mr. Simone, the final step in his journey from Antakya to Istanbul, is the realization of a shared dream between siblings İsmail, Mustafa, and Hatice. Over time, all nine siblings joined together, shaping a heartfelt family restaurant built on love and passion.
Mr. Simone offers a menu that blends traditional family recipes with innovative touches, featuring organic and handmade flavors. Hatice, Mr. Simone’s sister, enriches our tables with spreads and jams prepared from fresh, organic ingredients. The olives grown in our family’s groves in Antakya and the carefully crafted olive oil produced from them, do more than just add a natural flavor to our dishes. Each drop carries the warmth of our roots and the strength of our family bonds.
